I can safely say this is the most confused, excited, sobered and sad I’ve been in a long time. Itachi is so obviously disappointed in Sasuke, and even though I kind of knew that’s how this reunion was going to play out, I still feel like he’s being a dick. My head says he’s doing the right thing, but my heart says he’s cheating Sasuke by being so indifferent and unconcerned. I know he’s disappointed, but…this is the last chance for Sasuke. This is it for him. Sasuke doesn’t deserve much, but I do think he deserves an explanation.
Ugh I just can’t hold all of my feels right now, and I feel stupid for caring this much, and ridiculous for wanting Sasuke to be moral again, and cheated because I feel like Itachi is passing up an incredibly pivotal moment here. I SERIOUSLY hope their conversation continues in the next chapter, because this can’t be all their is. There’s so much that can be accomplished here. SO much.
